KAISER CHIEFS star RICKY WILSON has suffered from stagefright - after giving a speech to hundreds of people at his best friend's wedding.
The singer is used to performing in front of thousands of fans when on-stage with his British band, but was nervous about reading a best man's speech in front of wedding guests.
And the star was so terrified, he has compared himself to Hugh Grant's nerve-riddled character in British movie Four Weddings And A Funeral.
He says, "Doing the speech was the most horrifying thing I've ever done. It really freaked me out about weddings.
"It was more nerve-wracking than playing in front of thousands of people. I got all sweaty and my voice went really-high pitched. I was like Hugh Grant, stuttering and everything."
